The first public beta version of Android 14 on Google

Today, Google released the first beta version of Android 14 after two developer previews in February and March.

Today, after two developer previews, the first of four planned public betas of Android 14 was released. As with previous releases, the first beta is the first one anyone can install online, assuming they have a Pixel phone. No other phone has been introduced to install this version yet.

There aren’t many new features in this release, although there are updates to the user interface. One of these is a backward arrow. (Yes, we’ve reached a point in mobile OS history where back arrows are the most exciting thing ever).

Keep in mind that what you are installing is a beta version and is for developers who want to test their apps on this new version; So normal users should not expect stability from it.
